Text Box: Flightline News Text Box: FLIGHTLINE NEWS Text Box: ˜˜UNITED STATES Air FORCE Academy˜˜ Text Box: The annual summer picnic was held July 24 at Fort Snelling Park on a perfect Minnesota day, beautiful weather, good food, and wonderful conversation with friends. The parents of the Class of ‘08 shared stories of their cadet’s experience during BCT and the much anticipated “Doolie Day-Out.” Parents were given insight into this summer’s BCT and Global Engagement sessions by cadets C2C Erik Anderson and C2C Scott Text Box: Eberle. Erik served as BCT cadre for one session and Scott was cadre during a GE session. Scott and Erik both reported that the cadets in their groups were excellent students. Preparations for this year’s picnic were coordinated by Mark and Peg Backes and Cindy and Bob Mokos. The hamburgers and brats were perfectly prepared by chefs Stew Anderson and Bob Mokos.
